WORK EXPERIENCE​​

2018-present

Manager of communication, boca raton regional hospital
  • Managed all aspects of communications across all mediums, including print, direct mail, digital, and video

  •  Create award-winning work that delivers results for clients, including new applicant growth of 7 to 15 percent year-over-year

  • Write and produce quarterly direct mail appeals, which have increased in donations year-over-year since managing this project with current totals being over $800,000 per year and growth of 6.9 percent of the Annual Giving database

  • Responsible for 75 percent of design work - from conception to production 
    to finished product, including invitations, ads, fliers, brochures, and monthly newsletter

  • Enhanced readability of the Foundation newsletter by incorporating it into a 
    flipbook format with new software. This has increased open rates and reduced opt-outs 

  • Manage all updates to the website and responsible for new site design, including working with new web vendors to produce a cleaner, more user-friendly site 

  • Responsible for social content and routine posts on hospital news and Foundation events

  • Responsible for the onboarding of a new vendor for online fundraising and initiated a new Geo-fencing and Retargeting Campaign which has resulted in a 5.68% increase in online donations

  • Responsible for running a press event to launch the largest fundraising initiative in the hospital’s history of $250 million, which was reached in just over three years

  • Manage all broadcast e-mails sent for large-scale foundation events, including the Go Pink Luncheon with 1,500 participants, the Hospital Ball with 1,200 participants, and the Hospital Golf Tournament with more than 300 participants

2007 – 2018

Cross Country Healthcare, Creative Director
  • Led a team of five to as many as eight print and web designers, copywriters, and production artists to create and deliver multimedia advertising and marketing to help grow the business to the second-largest supplemental healthcare staffing company nationwide

  •  Create award-winning work that delivers results for clients, including new applicant growth of 7 to 15 percent year-over-year

  •  Develop and produce award-winning, breakthrough marketing material to drive recruitment, activate sales engagements, and effectively communicate company information, programs, and processes to internal and external audiences

  • Write and oversee the development of keyword-rich SEO copy for top natural search rankings and successful pay-per-click results

  • Manage the full conversion of multiple web properties (five content-rich web properties converted in less than six months) to Oracle Web Content Management (WCM) System for ease of real-time updates of content and forms

  • Create Social Media Marketing that grew devoted fan base to over 20,000 in three years

  • Write, implement, and help with distribution of essential marketing material for two separate major acquisitions

  • Developed strategic copy that met and exceeded client expectations.

  • Pushed the creative process to help launch two new pharmaceutical products into the marketplace, including Merida and Plavix, with collateral that informed potential users in a clear concise manner to understand the true purpose and benefit of the drug.
